My 100th birthday … I don’t believe it is coming, and People magazine is celebrating it with me! The new issue goes on sale tomorrow!

Betty White is the first woman to produce a sitcom on American television in 1953. She took an active part in TV shows and films from the fifties until 2019, mainly playing herself or working in voice acting. She is best known for the TV series Golden Girls, which aired on NBC in 1985-1992. She has also been seen on shows like Community or Bones.

She entered the Guinness Book of Records as the longest-serving person in the history of the television industry – her career began in 1939 and lasted over 80 years.

White’s death came as a surprise – she did not have any illnesses that could lead to it. The date of her death is officially December 31, 2021.
