The owner of the BSoD Gaming YouTube channel, which deals with the successes of the PlayStation 3 RPCS3 emulator, delighted all Metal Gear Solid fans with wonderful news: the legendary fourth part, which had never yielded to emulation on the PC, not only started, but also passed from beginning to end on stable 60FPS.
According to the author of the video, the game has been in this state for about a month: it keeps stable 60 frames per second and has almost no bugs. However, before making an important announcement, he decided to go through Metal Gear Solid 4 from beginning to end to see for himself. I was convinced: the game works and shows high performance even in complex scenes. In order to play MGS 4, you need to download a special build of the RPCS3 emulator .
PS The emulator was launched by me on: Windows 10 Pro x64 Version: 1903; Intel Core i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz; 24GB RAM DDR4-2400; NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060 6Gb; HDD ST1000DM010. Get stable 60FPS, within 30 minutes of the game, did not work; but 30-60 frames per second are maintained. As a disk image, I used the recently released release from the Exclusive group with Russian text translation.
