Apple launches iPhone XR in India

Apple began producing iPhone XR in India at Foxconn.

The company has been testing Foxconn production lines for several weeks and has now launched serial production of the iPhone XR, ETTelecom reports.

iPhone XR, made in India, will be sold not only in the domestic market, but also in Europe.

In the future, Apple wants to transfer part of the production of the iPhone 11 to India . Whether this will affect the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max is unknown.

Despite launching the iPhone XR in India, Apple does not stop assembling the phone in China.

Apple is estimated to save about 20% on the manufacture of the iPhone XR in India. But the company does not plan to lower smartphone prices. [ ETTelecom ]
