Google Password Manager now allows you to search for passwords among stolen data.
Google compares the saved passwords in Chrome and Android with the millions of accounts that have been stolen by hackers.
How to check your passwords
1. Go to the Google Password Manager website
2. Click the Check Passwords button
3. In a new window, click the Check Passwords button again
4. Enter the password for your Google account
During the test, Google encrypts all data and compares it with encrypted password databases on its servers.
Google not only searches for compromised passwords, but also duplicate and simple passwords. If the service finds something suspicious, the user will be prompted to change the password. [ The Verge ]
