NBCUniversal will launch its Peacock streaming service in spring

If the streaming services from Netflix, Apple, HBO, and Disney aren’t enough, here’s another one: Peacock. It will be launched by NBCUniversal in April next year, and so far the company has shared plans for service content.

Peacock will feature films from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, DreamWorks Animaion, Illumination and a number of Hollywood studios – but what kind of films they will be is unknown. The total duration of all films and series should be fifteen thousand hours (625 days).

Among the new shows are the restart of “Star Cruiser Galaxy” from the creator of the series “Mr. Robot”, the film “Doctor Death” with Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater, the film adaptation of “About Brave New World” with Demi Moore and other films. Peacock will also have NBC’s Sitcoms Parks and Recreation and Office.

Peacock subscription price has not yet been announced.
