Oppo introduced three new smartphone charging standards. They are called 65W SuperVOOC Fast Charge 2.0, 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge and VOOC Flash Charge 4.0.
The first standard, SuperVOOC 2.0, is the most interesting: the company promises that a 4000 mAh battery will charge from zero to 27% in just five minutes, and it takes only thirty minutes to fully charge. To achieve this, Oppo used gallium nitride semiconductors.
Five protective measures are also provided – they are implemented both on the device itself and on the charging adapter. The standard will debut in the smartphone Oppo Reno Ace, sales will begin on October 10.
The 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge takes eighty minutes to charge a smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery wirelessly. The VOOC 4.0 standard will replace the 4000 mAh battery from zero to one hundred percent in 73 minutes (67% will give in half an hour).
