Vivo today officially announced the release of its new flagship smartphone NEX 3. It received support for 5G communication technology, a productive Snapdragon 855 Plus chip and a new-fashioned waterfall display.
The Vivo NEX 3 is equipped with a 6.89-inch OLED display with 1080p resolution. The side edges of this display are bent to the edge of the smartphone. Actually, this means the marketing designation “waterfall”.
Thanks to this design, according to the assurances of Vivo engineers, the screen covers 99.6% of the front panel of the device. Because of this, there was no room for physical buttons on the side faces. Their role is played by the virtual Touch Sense buttons, which are paired with a tactile feedback system. The fingerprint scanner is integrated in the display.
The novelty is equipped with a Snapdragon 855 Plus chip, a 5G modem and has a steam chamber of the cooling system. The battery capacity of the new product is 4500 mAh, it supports Super FlashCharge fast charging technology (44 watts).
The novelty is equipped with a triple camera. The main module is the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP sensor. Paired with it are two 13 megapixel modules with wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
The cheapest Vivo NEX 3 model will cost $ 707 (8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory).
