Google experts told how in February this year they discovered a vulnerability in iOS. The problem was security when visiting sites: if the link was infected, hackers could gain access to the iPhone – they had at their disposal files, geolocation data and other information like messages in iMessage.
Google representatives reported an Apple vulnerability. Those reacted quickly: the gap was fixed on February 7 in the iOS 12.1.4 release. Initially, Apple took seven days to solve the problem.
Experts did not name the list of infected sites, although they noted that visits were estimated in thousands per week. Presumably, an operating system vulnerability appeared back in iOS 10. It turns out that it existed for at least two years.
