The modern Internet is not the same as it was five years ago. One wrong step – and you can break some new moral norms and rules of services and social networks. This was understood by Karina Martsinkevich, whose channel on Twitch was blocked for 30 days for “participating in hate actions against a person or a group of people.”
And what were these hateful actions? The girl was preparing live cosplay for one female character – Lifeline from Apex Legends. The girl dyed her hair, changed her clothes, hung a medical mask around her neck and began applying black makeup on her face. Somewhere in the middle of this procedure, her channel was blocked without warning.
Judging by the entries on Twitter, her stream on creating cosplay caught the eye of a user from the United States, whose subscribers took it as an insult and complained to the moderators.
