Xiaomi president and co-founder Lin Bin announced the successful testing of a new super-fast charge standard. The device replenishes the 4000 mAh battery in only seventeen minutes. Charging takes place at a power of 100 watts.
In this standard, the performance is almost twice as good as Oppo’s SuperVOOC technology, which is now considered the fastest on the market. For the same amount of time, the SuperVOOC-enabled battery is 65% charged, and the Xiaomi model is 100% charged.
What kind of smartphones will receive support for the new standard is not reported. But it will be devices under the brands Redmi and Xiaomi.
