Elon Musk tweeted a thermal test of the Starship spacecraft on Twitter. Hexagonal panels warmed up to 1650 degrees Kelvin – this is about 1375 degrees on the Celsius scale that we are used to.
According to Mask, Starship may experience similar temperatures when returning to Earth. Last week, photos of the Raptor engine attached to the Starship test version appeared on Twitter. The test should pass in the coming weeks.
Starship is an interplanetary spacecraft that will launch a rocket into orbit. It is assumed that the device can be used both for cargo delivery and for human flights.
