The 20th Century Fox film company announced a change in the release schedule for its upcoming films. The next film on the X-Men franchise – “Dark Phoenix” – was supposed to be released on November 2, 2018, but now the show starts on February 14, 2019.
Biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Rami Malek in the title role, in turn, will be released not on December 25, as planned, but on November 2. At the end of 2017, the film about Freddie Mercury changed its director – Brian Singer (“X-Men”) was fired , and Dexter Fletcher, better known as the actor who played Soap in the film “Cards, Money, Two Barrels”, took over.
Permutations in the schedule affected the upcoming superhero horror “New Mutants”, which “moved” from February 22, on August 2, 2019. The film will be sent to the filming to add another character. This is the second postponement of the premiere date.
In 2018, another superhero release is scheduled for 20th Century Fox – “Deadpool 2”, which is released on May 17th. On the test screenings, the picture received 98 points out of 100.
